The Q-score is an oscillator which indicates momentum and trend and scores range from -10 to +10 and are calculated to one decimal place.

Q Scores are the scores calculated and displayed for each of the 6,000+ instruments.

There are three scores calculated for every instrument, a Short, Medium and Long term score. These use Daily, Weekly and Monthly bars respectively.

Q-scores, whether positive or negative, can be advancing or declining. Advancing Q-scores indicate accelerating momentum, declining the opposite.

How are they calculated?
The Q Scores are calculated using end of period price data only. Using this price data, Quantmatix runs multiple proprietary studies for each instrument on the various timeframes.
